CS Ruku urges Munya, JB Muturi, Kivuti to work with DP Kindiki

Speaking during a public engagement forum in Kiritiri, Mbeere South Constituency, Ruku called on Democratic Party leader Justin Muturi, Party of National Unity (PNU) leader Peter Munya and Devolution Empowerment Party (DEP-Mbus) leader Lenny Kivuti to work alongside Deputy President Professor Kithure Kindiki in advancing the interests of the Mt Kenya East region. 

He argued that the region's leaders should unite behind the government rather than align themselves with Gachagua.

Ruku maintained that Gachagua has a history of falling out with political leaders, citing his public disagreements with former President Uhuru Kenyatta as an example. 

He claimed that leaders associating with the Democracy for the Citizens Party (DCP) leader risk being undermined and politically isolated.

The Cabinet Secretary also urged residents of Mbeere South to continue supporting the Kenya Kwanza administration, saying the government's performance should be assessed through ongoing and completed development projects. 

He highlighted the Kiambere–New Site Road, the Machanga–PI Road and the Kamburu Bulk Water Project, noting that the projects are expected to improve transport infrastructure and expand access to clean water for residents.

Ruku was accompanied by Chuka/Igambang'ombe Member of Parliament Patrick Munene, Kitutu Chache North MP Japheth Nyakundi and Lafey MP Mohammed Abdi .
