Water CS Alice Wahome oversees signing of performance contracts

Water, Sanitation and Irrigation Cabinet Secretary Alice Wahome has reassured of the government’s commitment to fulfilling its elections promise to Kenyans in the coming days.

The CS spoke on Thursday at Maji House while presiding over the signing of performance contracts as required by the government.

Heads of State corporations present included Water and Sanitation Principal Secretary (PS) Dr Paul Rono and Irrigation PS Gitonga Mugambi.

CS Wahome challenged the ministry officials to go beyond their call of duty and performance contracts by applying all tricks to achieve the best results in the interest of serving Kenyans and realizing the Kenya Kwanza manifesto.

She surther asked the corporate heads to cascade the monitoring and evaluation through performance contracts to their respective places of work.

Likewise, she reaffirmed confidence in her team saying it had both the ability and capacity to roll out government projects with minimum wastage, cost and delay.
