Deputy OCS turns gun on self after shooting girlfriend dead in Nakuru

A Deputy OCS in Nakuru has shot his alleged lover to death before turning the gun to himself in Mau Summit, Nakuru.
According to a police report, Janet Chebet, 30, was accosted on her way back to her home on Monday morning after dropping her son off at a nearby school.
According to police, OCS Arokot then shot Chebet in the back before turning the gun on himself.
Both victims were taken to Molo Sub County Hospital, where Chebet was pronounced dead.
OCS Arokot was then transferred to Nakuru Provincial General Hospital in critical condition.
At the scene, a ceska pistol and 9 rounds of ammunition were discovered. Police believe 6 rounds of ammunition were used in the incident.
