Comedian Arap Uria finally meets Peter Drury

Comedian Arap Uria on Saturday finally met his long-time idol, English football commentator Peter Drury.

Uria, who went viral for lip-syncing Drury's commentaries on Tik Tok, met the commentator in Qatar after taking to Twitter on Friday to appeal for a sit-down with the iconic commentator best known for his expressive and literate style of commentary.

His plea got the attention of Kenyans on Twitter who took to the platform urging Drury to accept Uria's request. Their efforts saw Drury trend in Kenya for the better part of Saturday.

Jim Beglin, an Irish football commentator, also saw Uria's tweet and offered to organise a sit-down between the pair.
