‎Collins Mwangi delighted to fulfil dream after joining Kagera Sugar

Mwangi arrives in Tanzania following a standout season with National Super League (NSL) outfit Fortune Sacco, where his lethal finishing saw him emerge as the second-tier's top scorer.

His prolific form inevitably caught the attention of regional scouts, paving the way for his step up to top-flight football in Tanzania.

Speaking after completing the move, the striker couldn't hide his excitement about the journey ahead, while remaining grounded about the adaptation period.

“I am delighted to join Kagera Sugar. It is a dream come true, Kagera is a good team and I feel at home. I know the expectations out there are high but, but I ask for patience because it is my first time here. I will try my best and I believe we will get it right," he said.

The transfer represents a significant step up in career as he prepares to test himself against Tanzania’s elite.

Having proven his credentials in the NSL, the forward will now be determined to replicate his goalscoring touch, make a strong first impression, and establish himself as a key figure for Kagera Sugar.
