Class 7 pupil caught transporting bhang in Naivasha

A Class 7 boy has been arrested while transporting bhang using a motorbike in Naivasha.

The area chief who was acting on a tip-off from a village elder got information that two underage boys were riding a motorcycle.

They attempted to stop them at Thindi, but they took off, with the elders in hot pursuit.

One of the boys was arrested Chobe village while his accomplice managed to flee and is yet to be caught.

Upon interrogation, the 14-year-old said he had been sent by his uncle to deliver bhang to a woman at the Chobe shopping centre.

The boy has been detained at the Kinangop police station pending further investigations into the matter.
