Citizen TV journalist Francis Ode arrested in Nairobi

Police in Nairobi arrested Citizen TV journalist Francis Ode on Tuesday afternoon.
Ode was on assignment in the Nairobi CBD, covering protests against the high fuel costs.
The journalist was roughed up alongside activists who were protesting the fuel price hikes at Kimathi Street in Nairobi.
Ode was roughed up by plainclothes officers who ignored his press identification.
He was briefly detained at the Central Police Station alongside the activists.
Ode has since been released from police custody.
