Busia: Search for man who abandoned 6-month-old baby in Bumala

Police officers in Butula Constituency, Busia County, are searching for a man who reportedly abandoned a six-month-old baby in a rented room in Bumala town.
According to a police report, the man, identified as Patrick Mashuwa, had rented the room with a woman who was nursing the baby.
The woman allegedly ran away, leaving Patrick and the infant behind.
Patrick then reportedly also fled, leaving the child alone after discovering that the mother had disappeared.
The baby was taken to the Bumala Police Station, and authorities are continuing efforts to locate the parents.
