Bungoma boda boda operator attacked

A motorcycle operator is nursing injuries after being attacked on Christmas Day by suspected robbers.

Anthony Wamalawa, who has been a boda boda operator for 10 years now, was attacked using crude weapons by unknown people who almost gorged out his eye in Bungoma’s Marell area.

The robbers made away with his motorbike and money.

Wamalwa was treated at a local health center and discharged.

He said that a gang of men accosted him at around 10:00 pm while he was dropping a passenger.

His family is now calling on the police to speed up investigations and arrest those who were involved in the attack.
