Former Kenyan international Boniface Ambani is the new AFC Leopards Chairman, following clubs elections held on Sunday at the Moi International Sports Centre Kasarani.

Ambani, who also featured for Leopards in his youth, garnered a total of 1,101 votes, against 682 by his only challenger Enos Mutoka.

The outspoken former Yanga SC striker thus takes over from outgoing Chairman Dan Shikanda, another ex-Kenyan international who has completed his two terms as the Ingwe president.

The election, conducted by the Independent Elections and Boundaries Commission (IEBC), also saw Leopards members decide their Secretary General and Treasurer for the next three years.

Isaac Mulindi is the new Secretary General after garnering 656 votes, beating Robert Situma and Irene Sitawa who managed 534 and 429 respectively.

Mulindi therefore takes over from the late Gilbert Andugu, who was promoted to glory in May 2025. Caroline Walusaga has been serving as the SG since Andugu's passed on.

Newton Lime was elected the new Treasurer, amassing 676 votes to beat  Edward Buhasho and Patrick Kanyangi in second and third respectively. Buhasho garnered 599 while Kanyangi got 445.
