Bandari
FC coach Andre Casa Mbungo says FC Talanta will pose a real test for his side
when they clash on Sunday at the Mbaraki Grounds in Mombasa.
Talanta
have made a decent start to life in the top flight, winning two and drawing
twice in their opening four matches and Mbungo expects the visitors to fight
for all three points.
“I
know little about them but upto Sunday I will have gathered much information
about them but we will play our game,” said Mbungo.
He
added, “It is always hard to play against a new side and their results are evidence
that they
are a good side”.
Bandari
notched a morale boosting win over AFC Leopards last weekend in Mombasa and
will be further uplifted by the return of defenders Siraj Mohammed and Bernard
Odhiambo who were out injured.
Abdallah
Hassan who was substituted against AFC Leopards on Sunday was also back in
training with his team mates ahead of the weekend task.
“Siraj
and Bernard are back training with the team and they might feature against
Talanta,” confirmed team manager Albert Ogari.
The
Dockers who have won three matches and lost one against Posta Rangers are
currently 4th in the log as Talanta sit below them by a point.
Talanta
shocked defending champions Tusker FC winning 2-1 in the midweek action on
Wednesday.
