Kenya Army pulled an impressive straight sets dominance 3 -0 (25-15, 25-15, 25-19) against struggling Mt. Kenya Base Yetu in the return leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation League (KVFL) at the Nyayo open arena.

Kenya Army register their first win after losing all the first four matches in the first leg of the season, whereas Base Yetu remain winless in the league so far after losing all their three matches they have played.

"We produced a brilliant performance today. We are looking forward to win the remaining matches because we started the first league at a low pace, "Ali Adan Kenya Army coach speaking after the match.

"We were playing against a tough side, we remain winless in our three matches but I can say that we lack a squad depth which is able to compete," Base Yetu coach Vitrina King'aru said after the match.

Elsewhere, KPA did a straight set dominance after they thrashed Trail Blazers 3-0, Nairobi Prisons defeated Kenya Forest Service 3-1(25-19,26-28,27-25,25- 18) during the second leg of the Kenya Volleyball Federation men's National League at the Nyayo National Stadium outdoor court, Nairobi.
