Africa’s Next Super Model to kick off scouting campaign on August 29

Africa’s Next Super Model 2026 will begin its search for the next global fashion star on August 29 in Nairobi, following a high-profile endorsement from Kenya’s Ministry of Tourism.

The scouting campaign for Africa’s Next Super Model 2026 will run through the end of September, with casting sessions set to take place across Kenya.

The initiative aims to uncover talent beyond major urban centers while drawing aspiring models from over a dozen African nations, including Angola, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Rwanda, the Democratic Republic of Congo, South Sudan, and Ethiopia.

Ahead of the campaign, Tourism Principal Secretary Julius Bitok has emphasized the role of fashion and modelling in elevating the country's culture, tourism, and global profile.

The campaign is led by Joan Okorodudu, founder and CEO of Isis Models International, which is celebrating its 20th anniversary this year.

Scouts are seeking female applicants aged 18 to 26 who demonstrate distinctive features, confidence, runway presence, and international potential.

The winner of the competition will receive a $5,000 cash prize along with international modeling opportunities.

Previous success stories from the platform include Kenyan model Magdalene Takanyiro, who was scouted through the initiative and went on to walk for major global fashion houses, including Yves Saint Laurent (YSL) in Paris.

The competition will conclude with a grand finale in Nairobi on November 21, 2026.
