9 pupils hospitalised after falling off a tree in Nandi

Nine pupils from Keteng Primary School in Nandi Hills were Wednesday hospitalized after falling off a tree they were picking fruits from within the school compound. 

It is said one of the branches which the pupils had stepped on it broke, sending them down where other pupils who were under the tree were also injured. 

Some of the learners have been treated and released. One who was seriously injured is under observation at the hospital.

Nandi Hills County Hospital Medical Superintendent Richard Chepkwony who confirmed the incident says that the condition of the kids is well and have responded to medication.
