80-year-old man killed in a road accident in Machakos

The tragic accident happened near Kaewa Catholic Church along Kanyonyoo-Embu road.

The man, who was riding a motorcycle towards Kivaa, was involved in a head-on collision with a lorry, which was overtaking another vehicle at the time of the crash.

Traffic police officers from Matuu responded to the scene and have since transported the body to Mbaku Funeral Home.

Authorities have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
