18 in court for noise making

18 suspects were on Friday morning arraigned in a Isiolo Court to face unnecessary noise making charges.

The 18 were accused of making noise at Isiolo main stage located along the Nairobi –Meru road on Wednesday, August 19, something the court heard irritated the travelers.

Three of the suspects, who were before Isiolo Chief Magistrate Samuel Mungai, denied the charges and were released on Ksh 30,000 bond each while the rest are still detained at the Isiolo Police Station.

The Chief Magistrate, however, ordered that the remaining 15 suspects ought to pay a bond of Ksh 20,000 so as to secure their freedom temporarily.

The hearing of the their bond application was set for September 1, 2016.
