15 injured in dawn Voi accident

15 passengers sustained serious injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in were involved in an accident at Mbuyuni area in Voi, Taita Taveta County.
The bus, belinging to Dreamline Transport Company, overturned after slipping of the road at around 4:00 am.
The vehicle is said to have skidded off the road as a result of moisture on the road while on a trip to Mombasa from Nairobi.
Area police boss, Joseph Chesire, who said the victims were rushed to Voi Moi Referral and St. Joseph’s Hospital at Ikanga.
Chesire said that most of the injured were treated and discharged.
