11 students dead, 21 seriously injured after Kenyatta University bus collides with truck in Voi

Eleven Kenyatta University students died and 21 others were
seriously injured on Monday evening when their college bus collided with a
truck in the Maungu area near Voi on the Nairobi-Mombasa highway.
Voi
sub-county police commandant Dasala Ibrahim said those injured were rushed to
hospitals around the area.
The
bus was ferrying students heading to Mombasa for an academic trip.
Dasala said 42 students were in various hospitals while four others were not accounted for at press time.
