Woman arrested, bhang worth over Ksh.50,000 netted in Kilifi

Police in Kilifi have detained a woman who was found in possession of 261 rolls of bhang valued at  Ksh.52,200 at her home in Mnarani.

Kilifi North Sub-County Police Commander Stanley Tonui said, the woman, identified as Pamela Otieno, was arrested following reports from local residents about the illegal drug trade.

Tonui added that the operation will be extended to Chumani and Mtondia areas in Kilifi.

Meanwhile, he warned those involved in the drug trade to cease their activities before they face government action.
