Naivasha: Two killed, several injured, as brakes on bus headed to burial fail
One adult and an infant were killed when a bus headed to Tororo, Uganda, for a burial, rammed into another vehicle headed in the same direction after the brakes failed.
The bus swerved off the road in Kayole area, on the Nairobi-Nakuru highway, in the wee hours of Wednesday morning, and hit a vehicle from behind.
There were 63 occupants on the bus labeled 'blessed' at the time of the accident.
The wreckages of the vehicles were towed away.
According to a police report, the deceased were a mother and her child.
Dozens of passengers on the bus were injured.
