Suba South: Grief as two siblings burnt to death in suspected arson as parents attend prayers

Grief has engulfed Ramula village in Gwassi West Location, Suba South Sub County after two children from the same family were burned beyond recognition in a suspected arson case.

The children identified as Saviour Omondi, aged three and a PP1 pupil at Ramula Primary School and his brother Reagan Otieno were sleeping when their house caught fire and burnt them beyond recognition.

According to the chief of Gwasi West Location Tobias Opiyo, the incident happened when the parents of the deceased had gone for night prayers at a nearby home.

According to the administrator, the fire started at 3am on Saturday and engulfed the whole house by the time the father arrived after he heard screams from his first wife who was sleeping in one of the houses.
