KWS officers in Narok have been lauded for moving a herd of elephants that had invaded residents' farms.

Residents had raised concerns after the wildlife put their children in danger as they made their way for school.

The residents had threatened to deal with the elephants had officers not come to transport the wildlife away.

The herd could be seen crossing the road in Suswa area and making its way to homesteads.

In a separate incident, two lions were spotted near Ikoyo Primary School in Kiboko location, Makueni county, on Saturday morning.

Simon Kombo, a village elder, urged residents to be careful as they waited for KWS officers to get to the ground.
