Nyali man lynched after fatally stabbing eight year old

The boy was rushed to Coast General Teaching and Referral Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
The motive behind the attack is not known.
Police have launched investigations.
The boy's mother, Sophia, said her son had left home to go out and play and look for water when the incident happened.
"The man is known to use bhang. There have been many incidents caused by people who take bhang. Something needs to be done," she said.
Joseph Munuve, a resident, said the culprit, a 25 year old, used to take bhang.
"He was a thief. He has caused terror. The incident happened when he ran into the boy on his way. He strangled the boy and then stabbed him four times," he said.
Residents have urged police to rein in thugs.
