'No network!': Kuria East residents lament over unstable network hurting business and life
Citizens living in Ntimaru, Kuria East sub-county and bordering centres have called on the government to improve the network in the area, adding that they are unable to make calls without the disruptions.
Speaking to Wananchi Reporting, a section of traders in the town decried lost business due to poor network that cuts them off from potential business.
"There was a time I was selling goods at the market when suddenly I received a message on my phone welcoming me to a neighbouring country, yet I am right here in Kenya", Wangoi Munene, a trader at Ntimaru, said.
On his part, John Ndegwa, a veterinary officer, said he is often forced to walk for several miles from his office to have reliable network and communicate with his customers.
Residents decried that they hardly ever enjoy a stable network and called on the government to intervene.
The worst affected areas include Ntimaru, Motemorabu, Gukipimo, Isebania, Taragwiti among other small bordering towns.
