Nakuru: Molo and Kuresoi residents decry poor state of roads

Residents of Molo and Kuresoi have protested over the poor state of roads in their region.

Speaking to Citizen Digital, locals said the Kaprogato-Kapsinendet road is among the worst affected.

Locals said the ongoing heavy rains have affected transportation in the area.

"The roads in Kapsinendet, Block 10, and Daraja Mungu have been rendered impassable," residents led by Charles Bett Londiani and David Kitur stated.

The two were speaking at Vikingi Tatu and Kaprogato in Mariashoni Ward, Molo Constituency.

They added that the ongoing rains have caused severe disruptions, leaving much of the area's agricultural produce stored at home and leading to significant post-harvest losses.

The residents have called on both their area MP Kuria Kimani, and MCA Benard Langat to intervene and address the situation.
