Nakuru: Locals in Molo torch houses belonging to notorious changaa brewer

Locals have burned down five houses belonging to a notorious brewer in Chesilongo, Sachangwan, located in Molo, Nakuru County.
This follows the death of a 43-year-old man who was allegedly involved in a fight at her drinking establishment.
Speaking to Chamgei FM, local leaders, including Pastor Joel Too and former councillor Paul Tessot, expressed their frustration over the ongoing violence linked to the brewer's operations.
The deceased's father accused local chiefs of ignoring community concerns.
Residents claimed that despite their protests, security officers have failed to take action against the brewer.
"We are shocked she still operates; people have lost their lives, and now we’ve taken the law into our own hands," he said.
The area chief and his assistant refused to comment after the torching of the properties, including the brewer's home.
Last year, two brothers were reportedly killed in a fight involving a gang that acts as her security.
