Mlolongo speed bump now marked following public outcry
Authorities have moved in to mark a bump at Mlolongo, Machakos County days after it was highlighted by Citizen Digital.
A spot check by our reporter showed that the bump has since been marked.
Motorists have welcomed the move saying it is well thought out.
"We raised this issue following cases where motorists would unknowingly hit the bump," a resident said.
Earlier, Citizen Digital highlighted the issue following an outcry from members of the public.
Motorists had called on relevant authorities to remove an unmarked bump right before Mlolongo.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, motorists plying the route said the unmarked bump punctuating the road posed a great risk to road users.
