Maralal: Family calls for justice after mother of 4 raped and killed

A  familly in Kipeyok, Loikas village, in Maralal is crying for justice after their kin, a mother of four, was raped and killed while going home after conducting business in Maralal town on Monday night.

 

Silvana Loroto, the sister to the late  Rose Napeyok, called on the government to arrest the killers who are still at large.

  In recent days five women have been attacked and two raped in the area, specifically a bush, which is a few metres from Samburu county commissioner's office.

  County investigating officer, Martin Omumbo, said his office had received two reports of attacks on women and investigations are underway.

Samburu West MP Naisula Lesuuda condemned the incident and called for justice.
