Machakos: School night guard killed by robbers, transformer vandalised

A night guard manning Kyamulendu Primary School in Machakos was killed by robbers who vandalised and stole a power transformer inside school on Friday.
Police from Matungulu and Tala arrived at the scene and questioned those around the vicinity as investigations into the murder begin.
Residents have been urged to volunteer any information they may have about the culprits.
An alarm has been raised over the rising number of robberies and killings in Tala.
Last year, a night guard working in a supermarket in Tala was killed.
In another incident, a watchman was killed near Dorcas City Church in Nguluni.
