The traders said the broken sewage pipes near their workshops have significantly disrupted their operations.
Led by their chairman, Elijah Kiambati, they added that they have lost customers due to the filth spreading in their work areas.
With the ongoing rains pounding various parts of the country, they are also concerned about their health due to the foul odor emanating from the sewage.
They added that their attempts to urge the Uasin Gishu County government to address the issue have been futile.
The traders have vowed not to pay their business license fees this year until the Uasin Gishu County government addresses their grievances.
