Investigations as man gunned down in Marsabit County

A 32-year-old man has died following a shooting incident in Marsabit County.
Marsabit Central police commander Johnston Wachira said, the incident happened at the Badassa-Leyai junction in Saku Constituency.
Wachira added that a contingent of police officers has been deployed in the area in a bid to have the perpetrators brought to book.
The body of the deceased has been taken to Marsabit County Referral Hospital Mortuary. Meanwhile, Marsabit County Commissioner Paul Rotich has announced plans to compensate victims of clan clashes in Saku Constituency.

"We have put in place measures to ensure that order is restored in Marsabit County. Our priority is to resettle and compensate those affected by clashes," Rotich said.
