Detectives nab suspects linked to violent robberies in Busia

Two suspected gangsters have been arrested by detectives in Busia.

The team of detectives acting on intelligence arrested the two who are linked to a behind a string of violent robberies.

The incidents, police say, have unsettled Busia town and its surrounding areas.

The suspects have been identified as Boniface Nyongesa Masakari and Denis Obelo Ekisa.

“The suspects were smoked out of their hideout in Malaba, where authorities recovered a Tokarev pistol loaded with eight rounds of ammunition from Nyongesa's residence,” police said.
