CT Scan machine at Kericho hospital destroyed in fire

The cost of the damage is yet to be established.

Kericho County Referral Hospital’s officer in charge of Radiology and Imaging, Dr. George Owiti, confirmed the incident, saying that smoke was seen emanating from the CT Scan room and officers rushed to switch off the power and take the necessary measures.
He said one patient who was at the unit was evacuated and no one was hurt during the incident.
Kericho County and Finlay’s fire engines arrived on time to contain the situation,
