Bodaboda operators have raised concern over the spike in cases of road accidents.
Speaking to Citizen Digital, the operators said the most affected route is the Barsiele stretch along the Londiani-Muhoroni highway.
The bodaboda riders drawn from Barsiele trading centre in Kipkelion East Constituency called for action from the relevant bodies.
Association vice chairman Emmanuel Yegon noted that many people have lost their lives in road accidents.
On his part Amos Langat, a bodaboda rider, called on the Kenya Rural Roads Authority to erect bumps along the stretch.
Yegon added that five accidents have been reported in the last one month alone.
At the same time, they appealed to the county government of Kericho to relocate the bodaboda stage which is currently by the roadside.
