Busia: Family seeks justice for kin 3 months after his killing

By Leonard Acharry

The family of a 27-year-old man who was stabbed to death in Siribo village, Butula sub-county, Busia County, is crying out for justice three months after the incident.

The victim, Naman Auka, hailing from the neighboring Lubanga area in Matungu, Kakamega County, was killed by known individuals following an altercation over a woman.

Michael and Fridah Auka, the parents of the deceased, claim that they have received no support since their son's murder.

They added that those responsible for the crime are known to the community.

The delay by law enforcement officials in apprehending the suspects has left the family living in fear, as incidents of violence continue to occur in the area.

However, Stephen Kiema Githinji, the head of the investigations department in Busia County, has ordered the officers to expedite the probe so that legal action can be taken against the suspects.
