Young swimmers show case talent in tournament

Learners from Nairobi schools aged five to eleven showcased their aquatic prowess earlier today at Kiota School in Nairobi.

Among the attendees was Nairobi Swimming Association chairman Teddy Wamunyu.

He stated that the event aims to discover and harness talent in the early stages of development.

 He also said that it is a platform where coaches test their students against other students and swimmers.

He also noted key developments in this arena with some state of the art equipment such as electronic timers and touch pads.

This event was just a small part of a larger calendar series that runs throughout the year.
