Kakamega High School rugby head coach has hailed Menengai Oilers for
their fight in the Kenya Cup final that was played at the ASK Kakamega Show
ground on Saturday.
Oilers lost 27-26 to Kabras RFC and Wamanga believes it was a hard fight
for the defending champions who were winning it for the fourth time in a row.
“Their fighting spirit is amazing they put Kabras on their toes and
almost won the game what helped them was their experience that can in handy
despite the loss I loved the fight the put in,” said Wamanga
Speaking to Citizen digital the head coach went on to predict another
cracker of a match in the final of the Enterprise Cup adding that it is pitting
two of the best teams in the country.
“The final is another cracker of a match rugby fans must look up to it
because it will be entertaining and it will be a game of who maximizes the few
chances they create,” added Wamanga
On what is making the Nakuru based side special this is what the head
coach said.
“That team ahs grown each and every year they keep on improving always
they have a good technical bench that knows how to scout for players that is
what will make them go far if they continue doing so,” stated the head coach.
