The CECAFA champions, have been booked at the Haras El Hodod hotel in Alexandria, approximately 219 km from the capital Cairo. They have been allocated the Haras El Hodod field for their training sessions.

“The spirit is high in the team, our coaches (Charles Okere and Boniface Nyamunyamuh) are working together to ensure they get the best out of the team,” the club’s CEO Mike Senelwa said.

The club broke their training camp on Tuesday at the KISE Kenya Institute of Special Education (KISE) in Kasarani, Nairobi.

“We are very much prepared and haven’t rested since we sealed the qualification ticket in early September, because we embarked immediately in the FKF Cup and half of our National team earned a call up in the National team. We will give it to our all and I am sure we shall deliver good results,” the team’s captain Enez Mango said.

Queens will start their quest for continental glory with a clash against Mamelodi Sundowns on November 6 at the 30 June Stadium before meeting Morocco's Asfar November 9 at the Military Academy Stadium.

They will wrap up their Pool B fixtures against Nigeria heavyweights River Angels three days later at 30 June Stadium.

Group A comprises host Wadi Degla (Egypt), AS Mande (Mali), Malabo Queens (Equatorial Guinea), and Hasaacas Ladies of Ghana.
