test the power of his bullets with Vihiga.
He however acknowledges Vihiga as tough opponents at any given
match they have met them.
“We are very much prepared to take on Vihiga. We understand it
will be not an easy match; our opponents deserve respect from any local team as
they are four-time champions. They recently
represented Kenya in the Cecafa region championship after winning the Premier
League title, but we are the defending champions of the Super Cup,” explained
Wambua.
With only one week remaining for the new season of the FKF Women

The soldiers have not released a single player instead they have
retained their last season squad.
“I have confidence that my new players will deliver. I believe in
them, super talents. They have settled well in the team, they only need to keep
working hard.”
Meanwhile, Vihiga Queens head coach Boniface Nyamuhnyamuh is also
bullish they will overcome Ulinzi in the season opener.
“It will be a good match because it will give for both coaches a
chance to gauge the players ahead of the league kickoff. We are very much
prepared.
“We have signed four new players and we have forwarded their names
to the Football Kenya Federation for approval. We will reveal their names before
the end of the week considering that the transfer window will close on
September 30.”
