Kenya Volleyball Federation (KFV) League side Trailblazers have intensified their training in preparation for the 2024/2025 season, focus on improving on last season’s performance.

In the last campaign, they suffered a quarterfinal exit against Mombasa’s Kenya Ports Authority (KPA).

Assistant Coach Luke Upeto who doubles as an outside hitter said that the team is making significant strides and is confident of exhibiting better shows next season.

“We are putting in a lot of effort ahead of the new season. We are trying to polish every area. The main goal this season is to clinch the title. We are looking forward to achieving that goal,” Upeto observed.

Upeto also hinted at the possibility of new signings to bolster the squad.

"We are looking to bring in fresh talent to address any weaknesses and turn them into strengths," he noted.

Trailblazers opposite player Caleb Kamande also shared Upeto’s enthusiasm ahead of the new season.

"Our preparations are on track, and we are focused on finishing at the top and securing the title," Kamande affirmed.
