Siaya-based chicken farmer becomes the 24th winner of the Shabiki Jackpot
While knocking out a 12,000,000
cash splash for winners, Vitalis Ongare last week clinched a 500,000 cash prize
from the Shabiki Jackpot.
Ongare, a chicken farmer from
Oboch village, well known to his friends as Apache K'ongare, had his persistent
efforts pay off after numerous attempts, starting from the Shabiki Jackpot Mbao
and continuing to Shabiki Jackpot Kaende, where he placed a bet of Sh 50,
leading to his victory.
‘Getting this money is not easy.
I made several attempts since the advent of Shabiki Jackpot, but I never gave
up. I persevered to Kaende Jackpot and am overly excited to be a winner,’ Mr
Ongare said.
Despite predicting 11 out of 13
matches, the Shabiki Jackpot team had a rough time trying to convince him of
his win. He initially doubted his hard-earned fortune, suspecting the calls he
received were from sweet-talking scammers.
Ongare only agreed to collect his token after receiving,
a live on-air call from our vernacular station Ramogi FM.
Ongare now has ambitious plans to
expand his ‘kuku kienyeji’ business as well as pay secondary school fees for
his dependents.
"This jackpot has relieved
me of the burden of school fees. I will also use this money to purchase chicken
feeds and expand my chicken farming. The cost of these feeds has risen,
but I can now afford them."
Ongare has encouraged citizens
not to give up on placing their Shabiki Kaende Jackpot bets as the game is real
and an easy avenue to earn money.
