Luanda Villa will go for a win and nothing less when they take on National Super League newbies 3K FC of Embu on Sunday, coach Gilbert Selebwa has said.

Selebwa says their victory against a strong Kibera Black Stars last weekend is a A morale booster ahead of their second tie this season in the league, against the red hot 3K FC.

He however knows their opponents will be hard nut to crack, coming from a 4-0 win over hosts Kisumu Allstars last weekend, in what was their first ever NSL match.

“What people should understand is that NSL is a marathon. We have only played one game and 3K FC will be our second match this season. I know 3K having signed young talented players are waiting for us with bated breath but if we did well against a better side Kibera Black Stars, I'm confident we will collect maximum points in Embu this weekend,” Selebwa stated.

It is still not clear whether Luanda Villa skipper Clinton Odiwuor who suffered a knock during Kibera Black Stars clash at Mumboha will feature against 3K FC.

“I'm monitoring Odiwuor to see whether he will be fit to play this weekend after he got injured last Saturday. My approach for 3K will be different from the way we approached Kibera, because you saw we had to make changes which won us that match,” Selebwa said.

Luanda Villa who are featuring in the National Super League for a second time will be playing in Embu for the first time ever, at the Moi Stadium - the home of 3K.
