Onyango confident of turning around Kibera Black Stars fortunes

National Super League struggling side Kibera Black
Stars head coach Moses Onyango has rued a dip in form for his side’s recent
struggles that have seen them drop to eleventh on the log after impressive
performances in the first leg.
Black’s
Stars’ 1-0 loss away to Shabana on Saturday stretched their winless streak to
seven matches, with their last win dating back to April 9th, when they defeated
SS Assad 2-0.
Despite
their recent travails, Onyango says he is ready to make changes that will help
his stable rediscover their best exploits with seven matches left before the
end of the season.
“We started our season well, but a
dip in form has sabotaged our ambitions for the season.
“If you look at how we played against Shabana,
we failed to make the most of the chances that came our way while they took
theirs.
Onyango
has rallied his charges to garner maximum points from their remaining matches
as they eye a top-six finish.
“Everything was going well in
the first leg when we were winning our matches, and I am ready to make changes
that will help us rediscover our best form.
Black Stars will seek to bounce back from their woes
when they take on fifth-placed Gusii FC, who are gunning for an NSL/FKF Premier
League promotion playoff slot on Wednesday.
