Nyaberi vows to push NSL title race to final day
Muranga SEAL head coach Vincent Nyaberi says that
their quest to lift the National Super League title this season remains intact
going into the last three matches.
Nyaberi insists their last match of the season
against Gusii FC at their St Sebastian Park home ground will be the
title decider.
His sentiments come days after Shabana FC climbed back
to the top of the league with 67 points, three ahead of them after thrashing
Darajani Gogo 3-0 last week.
“We have been talking with the boys and we are determined to fight up to
the last whistle. We will take every of the three remaining games as a final
and we believe that our Sunday’s game with Shabana here at St Sebastian will
decide who walks away with the title,” said Nyaberi.
Nyaberi says all their remaining matches are a must win, starting with
Wednesday's clash with Kibera Black Stars.
“We want to win all the remaining games with a bigger goal margin so that even if we are to tie with Shabana at the top, we will have the chance to walk away with the title on goal difference,” said Nyaberi.
Shabana could open a six-point gap at the top, should they beat MCF at
the Gusii Stadium Tuesday evening.
