At Serani Sports Ground, Mombasa United defeated struggling Nzoia Sugar 1-0 as the coastal side claimed their third NSL win this season at Serani Sports Ground in Mombasa.
Nassor Shikokoti's own goal in the second half gave the home team the three points to continue with their hundred-percent home win this season.

Left back David Wanyama gave the home team their first shot on target in 34th minute of the match, firing a strong 40 yard shot that was comfortably saved by Nzoia Sugar fc goalkeeper Eliud Emase.
Mombasa United only needed ten minutes into second half to get the opener after youngster Khamis Nyale powered a low strong cross ball forcing Nzoia defender Nassor Shikokoti to direct it to his own net.

On stoppage time, Ramadhan Mwanzia almost extended Mombasa United lead but his shot went inches off the side post.
Visitors almost capitalized in the final last kick of the game through striker Seda but his low shot lost direction for a goal kick.
