Muganga says no pressure on new Thika Queens players
Thika Queens Team Manager Glenstone Muganga says the club
will give their new players enough time to develop and build playing
connections with the rest of the teammates and will not pressure them to adapt
to their style immediately.
Muganga was adamant they will have a better season than last
season where they finished fourth in the Kenya Women Premier League where they
target to reclaim the title.
“You know when you have new players, you give them time to
develop and grow. With that and the right encouragement, you slowly build a
good team which is what we are doing right now and with the kind of training we
have been having lately then I believe we will have an awesome season,” Muganga
said.
Queens have bought three new players after losing four last season
and also brought in Joseph Oyoo as their new coach to fill the void left by
former coach Belinda Ochieng.
