Mombasa Stars triumph over Kajiado FC with 4-0 victory in NSL match

Mombasa Stars emerged victorious with a commanding 4-0 win against Kajiado FC in a National Super League match held this afternoon at the Serani Sports Ground in Mombasa.

The goals for the Stars were scored by Lucky Kaingu, Dennis Magige, Alvin Ngoto, and Joel Kihara, showcasing a strong offensive performance by the team.

The opening goal came in the 14th minute when Lucky Kaingu fired a spectacular 30-yard shot, defeating Kajiado FC's goalkeeper Boaz Opiyo. Despite Kajiado FC's efforts to equalize, including a close attempt in the 23rd minute when Kevin Okaro's overhead kick from a free kick by Evans Otieno was saved by Mombasa Stars' goalkeeper Said Dhadho, they were unable to break through.

Dennis Magige, on loan from Bandari FC, extended Mombasa Stars' lead in the 32nd minute with a long-range shot that navigated through a crowded penalty area. Despite a missed opportunity by Alvin Ngoto towards the end of the first half, the Stars maintained a 2-0 lead at the break.

Just two minutes into the second half, Alvin Ngoto, another Bandari FC loanee, increased the Stars' lead by converting a precise pass from Mwema Mwanzah. Shortly thereafter, Joel Kihara headed in a free kick from Ali Ghalib to put the Stars up by four.

Kajiado FC's attempts to score were thwarted, with experienced strikers Erick Ombija and James Noana unable to convert their chances in the second half.

The win for Mombasa Stars adds significant momentum to their campaign in the National Super League, demonstrating their strong form and teamwork.
