Leopards appoint Czech national Trucha as new head coach

AFC Leopards appoint Czech national Tomas Trucha as the club's new head coach on two-year deal following the dismissal of Toma Juma four days ago.

Among other changes that the club has announced, Haggai Azande, Bernard Mang'oli Wanyama and Joshua Caleb Osir have been appointed as goalkeeper coach, Team Manager and assistant physiotherapist respectively.

The trio have signed a contract that will keep them at the club for the next three years.

Trucha returns to Leopards for a second stint after coaching the club in 2020 in November where we ditched it in unclear circumstances.

Trucha replaces the sacked Tom Juma who had overseen the club for only six matches winning zero and losing two.

He is a holder of UEFA pro license.

The announcement published on the Leopards offficial twitter handle means that the Czech national who had until recently been Kelantan United- Malasyia head coach, will take charge of the Big Cats against Bandari on Oct 22 in his first assignment.

He takes over a team that sits 17th with only four points, three above bottom-side Sofapaka.
