Kisped Queens head coach Daniel Minjis has acknowledged the high stakes in their upcoming FKF Women’s Premier League clash against Kisumu All Starlets, labeling the match as a derby and a major test for his team.

The match, scheduled to take place this Saturday at Mambo Leo Grounds in Kisumu County promises to be a thrilling encounter as both teams vie for bragging rights and vital points.

Speaking to Citizen Digital ahead of the match, Minjis noted that Kisumu All Starlets enjoyed an impeccable record during their time in the National Super League (NSL) as they reigned supreme in all the matches they met.

However, he remains confident that Kisped Queens will rise to the occasion in the Premier League.

“This is a Derby; It Won't Be Easy,” he said.

He further emphasized the intense rivalry between the two sides, predicting a highly competitive game.

"The Starlets were dominant in the NSL, but this is a new challenge in the Premier League," he said. "I believe in my team’s ability to secure victory, even against tough opponents like Kisumu All Starlets."

Minjis revealed that the team's preparations are on track, with a tactical focus on taking control of the game early.

Minjis has rallied the fans to turn up in large numbers to cheer them on.
