Kenya Police, Fly 748 renew sponsorship deal
Renowned
airline, Fly 748 has today extended its Ksh 6 Million sleeve sponsorship with
Kenya Police FC after a stelar first season in the topflight.
During the
cheque signing ceremony that was held at Vigilance house in Nairobi, Fly 748
Managing Director, Moses Mwangi said the airline was impressed by the side’s
performance last season, which culminated in a ninth place finish.
“It's only last year that Kenya Police FC managed to enter Premier League and you can't believe the kind of work they have done.
"I have to tell you the
truth. We see this is a group that we can work with, they are people committed
and there is a lot of commitment in the team,” he added.
The airline
has expressed optimism that the side will perform even better this season with
Mwangi assuring that if the club reaches better heights, the sponsorship package
will be increased.
Deputy Inspector
General, Edward Mbugua expressed satisfaction at the team’s performance and was
generally grateful that the airline is committed to supporting the club.
“I want to
appreciate Fly 748 for the support they have been giving us over the last one
year we have been together. You have supported us very well and we have agreed
you will also support us in the coming season,” Mbugua said.
